Social Research and is completing his doctoral work at Purdue
University. Our statistician holds a master's degree in statistics
from Rutgers University and has completed all the course work
for a Doctorate in Public Health, Biostatistics and teaches
graduate level statistics. We also regularly subcontract the
services of a Canadian pay equity expert.
Haignere,
Inc. has the computers and software to store and manage large
databases, organize and validate employee records, check for
data inconsistencies and potential error, conduct sophisticated
statistical analyses (SAS), efficiently monitor large research
projects, and produce specialized reports.

Policy
related research
Haignere,
Inc. has been retained to design and conduct policy-related
studies to satisfy parties on different sides of policy issues.
For example, Haignere, Inc. was selected to conduct research
for the City of Toronto/CUPE Local 416 labor/management dispute
over the development of a pay equity plan. The parties were
ten years overdue in meeting the implementation required by
the Ontario Pay Equity Act, and were essentially stalemated.
We met with the parties and designed the necessary research
to the satisfaction of both parties. The results of our study
enabled the parties to successfully reach a negotiated agreement.
Recent
pay equity clients

explanation of pay equity/comparable worth.
Haignere,
Inc. has completed numerous pay equity projects for the Canadian
Human Rights Commission (CHRC), including consultation on
the development of a gender-neutral job evaluation system
for assessing technology jobs at Bell Canada Telephone. CHRC
also retained our firm to examine the gender neutrality of
the factors and weights of the Treasury Board of Canada's
Universal Classification Standard (UCS) as well as to conduct
statistical analyses of a database containing the UCS ratings
on more than 50,000 federal job classes.
